Welcome to the Seventh Annual Angelica Heritage Cup Soccer Tournament

August 4th& 5th 2007

We are pleased to invite you to Angelica for our tournament.

Contender Saturday entails a round-robin format within your division based on the following point system: Win: 3, Loss: 0 and in the event of a tie at the end of regulation: Win: 2, Shootout loss: 1. The top eight teams will advance to Championship Sunday.

Championship Sunday is a single elimination format requiring 3 wins to engrave your town's name on the Heritage Cup.

This year we will continue to follow the participation requirements (born on or after August 1, 1994) to allow for a more definable age. The honor system will be in place but if the age of a child is challenged, proof of age must be produced.

Format: 7 v 7, "half regulation field (50 yds. x 70 yds.), Co-ed. Minimum 2 girls and 2 boys on field at all times. Complete tournament rules will be sent with schedule or per request.

Roster Size: 15 maximum

Entry fee: First team: $40.00, Second team: $20.00 due by day of tournament prior to games.

Schedule: Schedule will be sent after teams are determined. Concessions will be provided all weekend (grilled foods, chips, bottled water, drinks, etc.)

Please return registration form before July 21, 2007 so that a schedule can be established. Teams will be chosen on a first come basis. "First come" meaning receipt of roster forms although a verbal commitment may suffice. Please forward to current coach.

Directions:

From East or West:

Take I-86 to Exit 31 Angelica. from the West turn left; from the East turn Right off the Exit ramp. There are two parking areas. The first is on this road turn left at the Village Offices sign. The other site is around the Centerpoint Academy School building. Turn left onto Main Street and proceed almost to the Park Circle. The driveway is on the left. The fields are behind the School.

From South:

Take New York Rt 19 to Belmont. In Belmont proceed straight rather than across bridge by the waterfall following the Truck route signs for Rt 19. At the blinking stop light go straight and continue onto CR 48. Continue to the end of CR 48 and turn right onto CR 20. Follow CR 20 into Angelica. At T of Main Street turn right and proceed through Main business district, around Park Circle and just after the Park Circle you will see a driveway for the Centerpoint Academy. Fields are behind the schoold building.
